  1. This is the last of seven archives containing the x86/MS-DOS Interrupt List,
  2. Release 60.

  4. [NOTE: due to the change in table numbering introduced with Release 59,
  5. some or all of the following programs may fail to properly cross-reference
  6. tables.]

  8. This archive contains programs to convert the MS-DOS interrupt list
  9. into hypertext databases for a number of popular hypertext help systems
  10. (other than WinHelp, which is in a separate archive).  These programs
  11. have been contributed by others; I have not tested most of them
  12. personally because I do not own the help systems for which they produce
  13. databases.  If you have problems, please contact the author of the
  14. program with which you experienced difficulties.  Some of these
  15. programs predate, and will thus not take advantage of, recent
  16. enhancements to the list's format.  MOST OF THESE CONVERSION UTILITIES
  17. ARE NOT STAND-ALONE PRODUCTS!  You must have the appropriate help
  18. system compiler to create an actual hypertext database which can be
  19. read by the help system; these are not included because they are
  20. commercial products, usually distributed together with the hypertext
  21. viewer.

  23. Not included here because it is rather large and is distributed
  24. separately by the author, is IL2HDK by Ron Loewy, a conversion program
  25. to put the interrupt list into Help Development Kit format, from which
  26. it can be converted into about a dozen different formats, including
  27. WinHelp, QuickHelp, Borland THELP, OS/2 IPF, POPHELP, and DESQview/X
  28. help. At the time of this writing, the current freeware version was 3.5
  29. (IL2HDK35), with v4.3 included in the commercial version of HLPDK
  30. (see http://www.hyperact.com/hact8.html).
